Meta -- In the middle, in common, changing places with something, going to a higher level. Also participating in something. Common words with the meta- prefix: Metamorphosis, metanovel, and metanoia.
Demi -- Half, or middle. Demigod: also related to the word medium.
Urge -- An action. Impetus. In this sense it's used to draw your attention to the systemic process itself rather than the identification of the thing.
Demiurge -- A subcreator of the world. Also, a skilled worker.
